In December 2021, Gartec Safety Technology (Shenzhen) and the Research Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) signed the "Science and Technology Incubation Program" and successfully settled in the Research Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).

助力“十四五规划”,支援两地智慧消防
The Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan proposes to support the development of science and entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and form an international center of science and technology innovation. The CUHK Shenzhen Institute has signed a number of cooperation agreements in this regard, including a cooperation agreement with the University of the Greater Bay Area on climate change and green energy research, a strategic cooperation agreement with the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Administration, and the People's Governments of Nanshan, Futian and Luohu Districts of Shenzhen. To strengthen CUHK's development in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, business education and applied research in the Greater Bay Area.
At present, Gartec Safety Technology has become one of the representatives of nearly 60 scientific and technological innovation companies of CUHK, working with CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute to develop the fire protection industry in the Greater Bay Area, taking the Greater Bay Area as a foothold, spreading the concept and equipment of smart fire protection to the whole country, reducing the national fire incidence, and protecting the safety of people on both sides of the Strait.
Connect scientific research and market to create a smart fire ecosystem
The CUHK SZ Research Institute started to build the Innovation Centre in the SZ Research Institute Building at the end of 2017, and was officially put into use on 12 May 2018. The Centre aims to undertake the transformation and cultivation of the University's scientific research achievements. It is a platform for CUHK students, professors and alumni to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship in Shenzhen and the Mainland.
At present, the Centre is based in Hong Kong to nurture and incubate startups, form an entrepreneurial ecosystem, achieve industrialization through innovative and entrepreneurial activities, and further promote in-depth cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in industry, education and research, driving innovation and development of the next generation of strategic industries such as information technology, biomedicine and intelligent manufacturing. To contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even the country.
The signing of the "Science and Technology Incubation Programme" with the Research Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) means that CUHK will be open to sharing its expertise and resources in the Greater Bay Area to support the long-term development of science and Technology as a science and technology enterprise. Gartec Safety Technology will also promote the integration of CUHK's scientific research technology and market, bring more economic benefits to scientific research results, drive the long-term development of upstream and downstream enterprises and research institutes in the smart fire industry, and jointly create a benign ecosystem for the smart fire industry.
In the future, Gartec Safety Technology will join hands with the Chinese University of Hong Kong to bring more intelligent fire protection technologies to people on both sides of the Strait using more systematic and scientific methods.
